I have been looking for a milk glass/ opaline classic ceiling light for ages. This is high quality and large enough for a sitting room or bedroom, I’m not sure why it’s being marketed as a bathroom ceiling light (although it would work in any room). It is a very nice light at a good price.

What a beautiful light!! We put it on the landing, it shows a decent amount of light through the pearly glass shade. We had to shorten it to fit safely, although we have high ceilings. I would recommend it to those who love traditional style decor as well as a smart look.

Really very surprised by how good these lights are. I have a vintage opalescent one in my front room that cost me more than 3 times what this was about 10 years ago. I really wasnt expecting these to be anywhere near as good on the glass front but they really are. Same wonderful light dispersal. My only criticism is I wish they were available in chrome or nickel. listed as a bathroom light but I’ve used two on the stairs /landing and they look fantastic. Superb value

This is beautiful light. I’ve used 2 in my entrance hallway and one on the upstairs landing. With a fairly dim bulb they look fantastic. Not just for the bathroom at all!
